The story of “Ghost” is the story of Ji-won (Kim Ha-neul), a bright young student with a promising future ahead of her. Her past is a different story, though. Something happened to her a while ago, and whatever it was, it left Ji-won with a blank memory. She has no recollection of who she is, her friends or her life before the incident.
Hard work and lots of exercise - she enjoys swimming - has brought her back to her current state, almost completely recovered, except for the fact that she still can’t remember anything.
Ji-won’s plan is to travel abroad to study in the hope that leaving her familiar surroundings will do her some good, but her mother is against this decision. Ji-won’s father is dead, and her mother feels abandoned and alone. She tries to persuade her daughter to stay.
Ji-won begins to remember little things from her past that come to her in short flashes. At the same time she sees strange things around her: A little girl hiding in her closet, only to disappear the next moment, and dark figures looming in the shadows. She suspects that these scattered images and events are somehow connected to her past.
When one of Ji-won’s old friends Eun-seo is found dead, drowned in her home, she begins to investigate her past. She’s desperate for any kind of information, but nobody will talk to her. Everybody seems to blame her for some horrible event.
Ji-won discovers that she was once friends with three other girls: Eun-seo, Yu-jung and Mi-kyung. Together these four girls formed an impenetrable alliance, and then... what? What happened? What did she do? Why does everybody look at her funny, and why - for the love of God - can’t she remember anything? Ji-won digs deeper into her past, hoping to find the answer. Different from what the teacher recalls, all her students have miserable memory about their school life due to their teacher, and their reunion turns out to be a long-awaited chance for vengeance. "For those who like horror films, this film will be like a gift set as it offers various kinds of fears through various techniques and methods, which you haven't seen in other local horror films", Lim told reporters on May 29 on a set in Taean, South Chungchong Province.

One day, Cloud receives a phone call from the former Shinra, Inc. president, Rufus, asking him for protection from a mysterious man named Kadaj. Kadaj, in the meantime, along with his brothers Loz and Yazoo, are searching for their "mother", and seem to believe that Cloud knows where to find her. Meanwhile, Vincent Valentine has been wandering the planet gathering information on Kadaj's scheme, and Cloud and his friends must come together again to fight these new enemies.

Plot Summary : Hyun-min (Shin Hyun-jun) works for the police, reconstructing faces by examining and interpreting their skulls. His daughter undergoes a heart transplant, and as her condition deteriorates, he loses his interest in his job. Hyun-min suspects that his daughters illness after the operation is caused by the heart, although her doctor, Dr. Yoon, tell him that his daughter is experiencing only minor complications. Distraught, Hyun-min quits his job to care for his duaghter full time. Meanwhile, the police are dealing with a series of bizarre murder cases, where the victim has had all their flesh dissolved away with acid, leaving only the bones behind. Sun-young (Song Yoon-ah) brings the skull of the fourth victim to Hyun-min, hoping that he'll be able to reconstruct the face. With the skull in their house, his daughter begins to experience visions of a distraught woman in a white robe. Hyun-min reconstructs the face of the victim, and it soon transpires that they all suffered from a (fictitious) affliction known as 'beta-allergy'. Tests reveal that Hyun-min's daughter has the condition, meaning that she has received the heart of someone who did. Romance blossoms between Hynu-min and Sun-young, and as they investigate, they uncover an organ transplant conspiracy - the murder victims were killed for their body parts, and it becomes apparent that Dr. Yoon knows more than he's letting on.
